William Randal Cremer

Sir William Randal Cremer (1828-1908) was a British publicist, a liberal Member of Parliament, pacifist and advocate of international arbitrage. He was a founder of the Interparliamentary Union and International Arbitration League. In 1903, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in international arbitration and, more specifically, for the Anglo-American Arbitration Treaty.
