The Peace Palace opens its doors on The Hague International Day. Visit the International Court of Justice (ICJ), The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and the Hague Conference (HccH) on 19. September.

Have you always wanted to know what the judges are working on at the International Court of Justice in the Peace Palace?

You can learn this and more on the 19th of September when seven international organizations open their doors to the public for one day only. You can visit the organizations from 11.00 to 17.00 hrs. Staff members will take you on a tour of the premises. They will explain their organization’s mission and work and what impact this is having on the world.

The Peace Palace
In the Peace Palace you can learn more about the institutions that are housed in the building, the International Court of Justice and the Permanent Court of Arbitration and Hague Conference of International Law which is located nearby. Staff members of the institutions will present themselves and show you the importance of their work. (ICJ and PCA will show a film and the HccH will give a presentation).

You can register at the special website of The international Day The Hague. Here you can read everything you need to know about The Hague International Day.

In order to visit the international organizations, you will need to register your participation by 17 September.
The Peace Palace can admit only a limited number of visitors on this day.

Security
The Peace Palace maintains strict security regulations. ( please bring id, no cameras, a minimum of trolleys etc and only small bags allowed) All visitors will be checked thoroughly. Be prepared for this. Please read through the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ list on the website here.
