The British Foreign Secretary, the Rt Hon. William Hague MP, held an important speech on Monday 9 July on “International law in a networked world”.

William Hague spoke in the Rolzaal at the Binnenhof, before an audience of politicians, diplomats, academics, and international judges. The speech was an expression of the policies and views developed by the UK in the field of international justice, both in the traditional fields of law (like interstate conflict) and in the area of international criminal law. The Foreign Secretary answered several questions after his speech was delivered. The event was hosted by the Netherlands Minister of Foreign Affairs Uri Rosenthal.
