European Heritage Label
The Peace Palace has received the European Heritage Label in Brussel on 8 April.
The Dutch Memorial site Camp Westerbork, Park Carnuntum (Austria), and the Great Guild Hall (Estonia) have also reveived the label. The European Commision has assigned the Peace Palace as an important location for remembrance for Europe.

Roerich Pact Exhibition
The Roerich Pact is the first international treaty on the protection of art, science, religion and monuments. This unique legal document sprang from the initiative of Nicholas Roerich, a famous Russian painter and jurist (1874-1947). From 16 April - 18 an exhibition on the Roerich Pact will be organized in the Peace Palace Library.
