As of 19 November, the Visitors Centre of the Peace Palace will be open to the public again, of course in accordance with the Covid-19 measures. Visitors are kindly requested to make a online reservation prior to their visit.
We are pleased to welcome you to the Visitors Centre of the Peace Palace.
A contemporary exhibition and an impressive film will give you an introduction to the creation of the Peace Palace and the judicial institutions located here in 30 to 45 minutes. The information is available via an audio tour in ten languages, namely Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Italian and Portuguese. Additionally, a special audio tour is available for children.
Opening hours & Reservation
The opening hours of the Visitors Centre in autumn 2020 will be as follows:
– Wednesday to Friday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
– Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
In order to regulate the number of visitors, we must ask you to make a reservation for your visit. This can be done up to 15 minutes prior to your arrival. You can enter until fifteen minutes before or after the time stated on your ticket. Entrance to the Visitors Centre is free of charge. A donation is highly appreciated.

Make a reservation for the Visitors Centre
We ensure that the Visitors Centre and our equipment are cleaned frequently and carefully. You can also choose to bring your own headphones or earphones for the audio tour.
