In a special educational program for schools, the history and the work of the institutions housed in the Peace Palace are presented in an interactive way. The program is accustomed as much as possible to the group’s level.
Educational groups are welcomed by an employee of the Carnegie Foundation in the Visitors Centre. When there are no hearings of the courts or any other special meetings, the group is also welcome to visit the entrance hall of the Peace Palace and one of the court rooms.
The educational program can be booked on the following days and times:
Mondays and Tuesdays (2021):
- 09.00 AM
- 10.30 AM
- 12.45 PM
- 2.15 PM
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (2021):
- May until November: only at 08.30 AM.
- November until April: 8.30 AM and 10 AM.
A visit takes 75 minutes. The costs of a visit are €130 (price changes reserved). Maximum group size is 20 students and two supervisors.
Due to the interactive character, the program only takes place outside opening hours on fixed days and times, subject to availability. School classes are more than welcome to listen to the audiotour and watch our film during the Visitors Centre’s opening hours.
