The Hague International Day
The Peace Palace opens its doors on The Hague International Day. Visit the International Court of Justice (ICJ), The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and the Hague Conference (HccH) on 19. September.
Scholarship Ceremony 2010 United World Colleges (UWC)

On the 10th of June the United World Colleges awarded scholarships to Dutch students. This festive ceremony was organized in the Peace Palace and was attended by H.R.H. Prince van Oranje who is Patron of UWC in the Netherlands and an alumnus of UWC.

War Child Peace Concert: Freedom 4 All
War Child organized a special Peace Concert: Freedom 4 All. Artists such as Marco Borsato and Liesbeth List performed in front of The Peace Palace.
Designs of Visitor Centre of the Peace Palace presented
The architectural model and the designs of the future Visitor Centre were officially presented on the 25th of february in the Small Courtroom of the Peace Palace.

The Hague celebrated 'Day of Peace' 2009 with an extended program on
20. and 21. September.
Nobelprize winner Wangari Maathai plants tree in the garden.
The Nobelprize winner Wangari Maathai, Major Jozias van Aartsen and Rabin Baldewsingh of the muncipality of The Hague planted an oak tree in the garden of the Peace Palace.
