Modernisation Great Hall of Justice

At the request of the International Court of Justice a plan has been worked out to modernize the Great Hall of Justice.

At the request of the International Court of Justice a plan has been worked out to modernize the Great Hall of Justice. This plan was drafted by the Amsterdam architect mw. Marijke van der Wijst, supported by the designbureau OTH from Amsterdam.
The plan provides new translation booths and brand new furniture which has the approval of The Hague authorities in the field of Aesthetic and Monument Protection. The assignment for the manufacturing of a new carpet is (after a short competition) is given to mw. Annet Haak from Amsterdam. The plan is mainly financed by the Carnegie Foundation.

À la demande de la Cour internationale de justice (CIJ), un projet a vu le jour pour moderniser la Grande salle de Justice. Les audiences publiques de la CIJ ont lieu dans cette salle. Le projet a été établi par l'architecte amstellodamoise Mme Marijke van der Wijst, avec l'aide du bureau de design OTH d'Amsterdam.
Le projet prévoit de nouvelles cabines d'interprètes et du mobilier neuf, et a été approuvé par les autorités haguenoises de protection des monuments historiques. L'appel d'offre pour la création d'un tapis pour la salle a été remporté par Mme. Annet Haak d'Amsterdam. Le projet est financé principalement par la Fondation Carnegie.
